I have made an easel card for this challenge. The penny black cat is stamped onto a nestabilities label and painted with distress inks. I have mounted this onto a cuttlebug embossed panel and card blank to make a label and added some ribbon. There are three little heart buttons stamped with a stamps by judith stubby and i have added a punched panel and a love greeting. I took a few pictures and hopefully you can see the effect!
Love is in the air this week and Edwin certainly fits the bill with his two love bugs. The flowers are from wild orchid crafts and the papers are again in my minds eye. I have coloured him with brushables pens. The hearts are a cuttlebug dies.
Happy Valentines Day

This weeks challenge is buttons and bows and distressing. I have distressed all the papers with inks and tearing, included buttons for the flower centres and put a bow on my stamped panel which i have also distressed with tea dye ink. The paper is from papermania and double sided and i have cut my butterfly out with a cuttle bug die. I have also added some blue pearl gems throughout.

This weeks challenge is pearls and pins.
I have used K&Co papers, a nestabilities scalloped circle, 2 cuttlebug butterflies which have been embossed and enhanced with pearl antennaes and pearls on their bodies, a penny black floral image watercoloured and glittered. Lots of pearls throughout and 2 pins and a pearl ribbons slider with a green ribbon. I am pleased with this card and it makes me feel spring is on its way.
My first time entering a Magnolia challenge and this one was to make an Easter basket. The stamp is Tilda picking violets. I stamped her onto 300gsm watercolour paper and then painted her with distress inks and highlighted her with glitters. I have made the basket from purple checked scrapbook paper and added an edge made with my martha stewart punch. 2 ribbons on the handle and highlighted with some flora doodle flowers. Quite a nice Easter treat for my sister.
