Penny Black at Allsorts - Say it with flowers


I was lucky enough to win a prize on last months challenge - thanks very much

Right onto this month! my friend asked me to maker her mum a 5oth card using my poppies which i just love using anyway. She's into monochrome so i used the opportunity to make a designer type feel for her mum.

I have used some papers, sentiment and border frame from craftwork, the frame has been distressed.

I stamped the poppies onto a white blank and did them again with white embossing powder onto some black spotty paper which i think is doodlebug, i cut the heads out and 3'd them. I have glittered the poppy heads with some german glass glitter. The black flowers are a martha stewart poinsettia punch and i have layered them onto a flourish punch and added some gems. I have also punched some small daisies. I have added some further gems across the card.

The numbers are embossed in silver and cut out, they are crafter companion stamps.
