Just a quick share of a card i have made on my holidays from work, i have treated myself to a few goodies to play with over the next few months and this was one of them - well while there a sale on!.

Allsorts Week 186/187 - Its as simple as black and white

Hi

Its a two week challenge this time at allsorts to allow for the christmas break and this time its brenda's turn to host our challenge which is "its as simple as black and white"

I am fed up of christmas cards now so thought i would use this penny black image in a different way, i got the ballons free with a magazine and for some reason they fell into my hand when i was searching around for inspiration!

So its a balloon ride on a winters day!

A last minute christmas card but i do like this decoupage image of the housemouse and his birdy pal - sometimes you just need a quick make and this fits the bill nicely for Lisa challenge this month

Stamping Sensations - Treemendous

I had to make a card for my friends birthday so thought i would link it to this months challenge at stamping sensations which is treemendous.  I have used a penny black tree for this one, kept it monochromatic and broken out the sparkle - in fact this could be a contender for next years christmas card!!!

Week 185 - Oh Christmas Tree

This weeks challenge is Oh Christmas Tree so the perfect opportunity for any last minute christmas cards or an early start for next year....

I have made an easel card for this week as its been a little while since i made one - i do love these little cards

Week 184 - Allsorts - White, Gold plus one other colour

Hi All

This week at allsorts helene has set a colour challenge, which is white, gold and one other colour - i have chosen green (well it is nearly christmas) and i cannot be too predictable with purple!!

I have used a passion for stamps image and a very lovely new die that when i have time needs some serious playing with - i watched a lady demo with it and she made some beautiful shaped cards with it!

Week 183 - Allsorts - Advent

Hi All

The theme this week is Advent and i have used two digi images by digistamp who are also this weeks sponsor

I have cut the images out into tiles, coloured them with pro markers and added a few gems here and there (have a little thing for bling at the moment) and backed them onto some mirri card
