This accidently fell through the letterbox - i don't know how that happens!

A simple card but i think the papers etc are so pretty it didn't need lots of content. Its another 11.5 size card

Allsorts 3,2,1

Hi

I have used a magenta image for this card and done a mix of colouring with polycolout pencils and paperpiecing, i have used the 3 papers for the piecing and background elements. I've used an 11.5 base for the easel card as i quite like smaller cards at the moment!

We have to pick our favourite and as i have used my poppies far too often i have used my favourite for today :o)

Allsorts - Recipe/Man

The challenge is to make something for a man, i have used a lili of the valley image for this one. There is also a recipe element - 1 design paper (this is a double sided one so hopefully counts) 2 die cuts or punches (i used a corner punch and a flourish punch) and 3 buttons. The sentiment is "you are my inspiration". Its a box card and has drawers at the bottom of the easel.

It will be all White on the Night!

Not convinced on this one but i do like the way little Milton pops out from the white background.

Used Copics for the flower along with my much loved pro markers - what do you think?

Penny Black Saturday Challenge

The challenge this weeks asks for the inclusion of stitching, i have added faux stitching to the background and the circles and used the "To You" set. I stamped the butterfly and flower onto scrapbook paper and added some highlights using Copics.

Sir Stampalot - Photo Inspiration

Well i was absolutely gutted when i saw this months challenge - a photo with poppies! Only kidding i love poppies (which i think we have noticed) and this time of year is one of my favourites when i see them on the verges etc. I had a lovely hour tonight making this card and it was a first outing for the daisy which accompanied this sheila douglas poppy. I love the verse too. I am really trying to make my picture better the verse actually says "look deeply into nature and then you will understand everything better"

I'm really pleased with this card and its done on a larger 8x8 size - not usual for me but this image was too beautiful to be small and i do seem to have got a bit addicted to scalloped cards of late!

Allsorts - Design Team Call

The Allsorts Challenge blog are having a call for 2 new design team members. I love the allsorts challenges and would love to be part of a design team so am having a go!

The stamp i have used is by Magenta and is already a firm favourite of mine. I have coloured it with pro markers and layered it on a coordinating paper stock edged with a martha stewart punch. I have added a charm to the bottom. Based on the design i think it doesn't need more than that to be honest.
