Sir Stampalot - Photo Inspiration

Well i was absolutely gutted when i saw this months challenge - a photo with poppies! Only kidding i love poppies (which i think we have noticed) and this time of year is one of my favourites when i see them on the verges etc. I had a lovely hour tonight making this card and it was a first outing for the daisy which accompanied this sheila douglas poppy. I love the verse too. I am really trying to make my picture better the verse actually says "look deeply into nature and then you will understand everything better"

I'm really pleased with this card and its done on a larger 8x8 size - not usual for me but this image was too beautiful to be small and i do seem to have got a bit addicted to scalloped cards of late!

Sir Stampalot - Magical

Hi

I have gone for a large card for a change and lots of purple and pink!!

I edged the background patterned card with a butterfly punch. I made a panel using akcohol inks and overstamped it with lavinia stamps - lots more butterflies lol

Ladies and Fashion

This months challenge was ladies and fashion and i had a lovely sheet of paper i had been saving that just fitted the bill! i also bought a lovely stamp this week which i feel added a touch of glitz and glamour and a touch of the bond villain with the mask. I made another stepper card for this challenge and i do quite like them!

Spring is in the air!

I have used a clear set by printworks to make this card and distress inks. I have coloured the flowers in with pro markers and put glossy accents on the card to make them more prominent. You cannot see much of the stamped background i have layered behind the card but it is there lol!
